Strategy of the Ministry of Education

Committed to the Ministry of Education to be a pre-university education quality education for all; as a fundamental human rights, in the
framework of a decentralized system based on community participation, and that education in Egypt, will be a pioneering model in the region,
working to prepare students for the knowledge society in light of a new social contract based on democracy, justice and the passage of a
permanent future.

The future vision for education in Egypt:

The vision of the future of education in Egypt, depends on both the mouths of sector-wide approach and overall quality, based on this vision
on six themes are:
1 - Effective school provides quality education for each learner.

2 - Distinguished teacher at a high level of professionalism and expertise.
3 - Methods based on active learning and linked to the needs of the local reality.
4 - Advanced technology education integrated into the educational process.
5 - Community participation launches energy efficient civil society to support quality education and creating a culture of participation and
building a democratic society in light of the trend towards decentralization, national
6 - Educational Administration distinct based on information and transparency, accountability and responsible leadership and informed
consent to see the development in the context of decentralization.

The objectives of educational policy:
1 - Availability: To provide equal educational opportunities for all children of Egypt through support of school construction and attention to
people with special needs to increase educational opportunities for girls and support early childhood literacy.
2 - Quality: reform and continuous improvement of the educational process in accordance with national quality standards.
3 - Systems: the development of systems to increase their effectiveness and Institutionalization of decentralization and building information
systems and monitoring and evaluation.

1 - The application of national standards for education and development in order to achieve a high level of quality and competitiveness.
2 - Working on the sustainability of successful practices and dissemination.
3 - Apply the entrance to the education reform based on the school.
4 - Strengthening the partnership with civil society and the private sector and localities.

An effective school:
Addresses this area "school" as an integrated unit, in order to achieve comprehensive quality in the educational process, which includes
all the elements in the positive interaction to achieve the desired expectations.

• Teacher:
Interested in this area by defining the standards of a comprehensive performance of all participants in the educational process within the
school, including teacher and director and the social worker and psychologist.

• Excellent management:
The focus in this area of educational administration at various levels from executive leadership, and through middle educational leadership
and finally the top leadership at the central level in the ministry..
 
• Community participation:
This means area by selecting standard levels of participation between the school and community, and considers the contribution of the
school in the community, and community support for the school, and various aspects of educational information.
 
• Curriculum and learning outcomes:
Deals with this area and what the learner should be derived from the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values, and the approach in terms of:
philosophy, objectives, and content, and methods of teaching and learning, resources and educational materials, and methods of evaluation.
It also addresses the learning outcomes that subjects are trying to achieve them.
